Effective ship inspection regimes are fundamental to maritime safety, environmental protection, and compliance with international conventions. This ten-day intensive program provides participants with the knowledge, practical skills, and inspection confidence required to conduct ship compliance assessments in accordance with internationally harmonised standards. The course integrates classroom instruction with supervised on-board inspection activities, ensuring that theoretical principles are immediately reinforced through real-world application.

The program draws upon widely adopted international inspection practices and is structured with reference to the competency principles reflected in IMO Model Course 3.09.
