What you need to start

To get the best out of your learning experience online you will need a computer with the following minimum features. If you do not have all of the following, our training program may still work but some functionality may be lost.

Workplace IT environments' internal configurations can also restrict the functionality of our training campus program. Access to content may be affected, as may the possibility of uploading files. File size limitations may also apply. Workplaces may also have older versions of software, and our online training programs may not perform well with these.

Internet Connection Speeds

  • Broadband Internet access essential for the delivery of multi-media content.
  • Dial-up access will be significantly slower, and we do not recommend it.

Please keep in mind that your internet connection speed can vary. For example, a document that loads quickly for you at work, may load more slowly at home.

The perceived "speed" of your course is increased by our tutors keeping documents small, splitting large documents into smaller documents, and optimising graphics. Some courses may provide alternative .zip versions of files that you can download and unzip.
